Le Orange 25mm Cubes

The 25mm cube is the industry standard for a reason. These coals provide a balanced heat output that works perfectly with most Heat Management Devices (HMDs) and foil setups. They offer a long burn time, usually lasting well over an hour, making them ideal for standard sessions with blonde or dark leaf tobacco.

Le Orange 26mm Cubes

For those who want a bit more "oomph" in their heat management, the 26mm cubes offer a slightly larger surface area. These are excellent for larger bowls or for smokers who prefer a higher temperature to pull out the robust notes of heavy dark leaf blends. They stay hot for an extended period, reducing the need to frequently swap out coals.

Setup & Performance

Le Orange coals are 100 percent natural, made from compressed coconut shells. Because they contain no quick light chemicals, you will need an electric coil burner to get them started. It typically takes about 8 to 12 minutes for them to be fully lit. So it is important for you to wait until they are glowing red all the way through and covered in a thin layer of grey ash before placing them on your bowl.

During your session, you will notice that these coals maintain a very consistent temperature. They don't spark or "pop," and the ash they produce is minimal and firm, so it won't fly around and clog your bowl’s airflow. For a standard phunnel bowl, starting with three 25mm cubes is usually the sweet spot for a perfect balance of flavor and clouds.
