Urb Bowls Hookah Bowls

Urb is a small-batch American bowl maker, and these are the hand-thrown phunnels in the shop — each one is slightly different in glaze and weight because they're made one at a time. The shape is a classic phunnel with a single spire and a wide rim, aimed at dark leaf and HMD use.

Because they're hand-thrown, rim diameters vary by a millimeter or two piece to piece; most HMDs still seat fine, but if yours is a tight fit, measure before ordering. The clay is heavier than Alpha's stoneware and holds heat longer, which suits a slow Tangiers session more than a quick blonde-leaf one. Stock rotates with what the maker has fired, so the glazes you see today may not be back. We carry Urb for people who want a bowl that isn't the same one everyone else has. Bowl basics are on the hookah bowls page.
